FEATURES

• The “Tơ” brush features a unique short handle design, resembling a lipstick or a silkworm cocoon. The brush comes with a protective cap, making it convenient for storage and easy to carry when traveling or painting outdoors. The cap can be attached to the end of the brush to extend the handle, so the brush does not feel too short and can suit different user preferences.
• The brush tip has high water retention, and is soft with good elasticity thanks to the high proportion of wolf hair combined with black fox hair. The pointed tip gathers well, allowing the brush to create fine lines (requiring good pressure control because wolf hair is soft), as well as medium strokes or soft washes.
• The brush is packaged in a paper box, making it suitable as a gift or for collection.

SPECIAL NOTES FOR THIS BRUSH

- Avoid dropping the brush to prevent damage to the handle.
- Despite its name, a “wolf hair” brush is not made from wolf hair. The term originates from “黄鼠狼” (huáng shǔ láng), which refers to the weasel. In traditional brush-making, weasel tail hair is known as “wolf hair” (狼毫, láng háo)—a historical and conventional term rather than a literal one. Therefore, brushes labeled as “wolf hair” are typically made from weasel tail hair, valued for its elasticity and control. In more affordable ranges, the hair may be blended with synthetic fibers or other types of hair. Different blending ratios create different painting experiences.
