The brush is made from 70% wolf hair, offering softness, high water retention, and good elasticity, with 25% pink-dyed goat hair surrounding the outside. The brush has a well-gathered pointed tip, providing high water retention while still maintaining the ability to create fine, controlled lines.

The Lobeo calligraphy brush “Tiên” features a gentle and refined design with a sparkling pink tone, like a little fairy.
The brush is made with 70% wolf hair in the core, offering softness, high water retention, and good elasticity, surrounded by 25% pink-dyed goat hair. The brush has a well-gathered pointed tip. It provides high water retention while still maintaining the ability to create fine, controlled lines.
Because the core uses brown wolf hair and the surrounding goat hair is dyed pink, the brush is less likely to retain pigment during use.

(However, due to its affordable price, artists who frequently use animal-hair brushes with harsher media may still consider this brush.)
- The brush features pink-dyed goat hair, so it is recommended to avoid using it with strong pigments such as green, blue, or black to prevent staining!
- Despite its name, a “wolf hair” brush is not made from wolf hair. The term originates from “黄鼠狼” (huáng shǔ láng), which refers to the weasel. In traditional brush-making, weasel tail hair is known as “wolf hair” (狼毫, láng háo)—a historical and conventional term rather than a literal one. Therefore, brushes labeled as “wolf hair” are typically made from weasel tail hair, valued for its elasticity and control. In more affordable ranges, the hair may be blended with synthetic fibers or other types of hair. Different blending ratios create different painting experiences.
- Sử dụng cọ mới cần rã sạch lớp keo của lông cọ để tránh làm hỏng màu và tranh. Lông cọ sau khi rã keo và ngậm nước là form chính của cọ.
Bước 1: Làm mềm keo
Nhúng đầu cọ vào nước 1-2 phút để làm mềm keo (Cần dùng tay giữ, không để đầu cọ chạm đáy cốc làm hỏng đầu cọ). Cọ size nhỏ có thể giảm thời gian này.
Bước 2: Rã keo
Dùng tay bóp nhẹ lông cọ từ đuôi lên đầu lông giúp keo tan ra dần, tránh làm gãy hoặc bung gốc lông.
Bước 3: Xả keo
Xả dưới vòi nước chảy nhẹ. Tiếp tục vuốt nhẹ lông cọ cho đến khi tay không còn cảm giác dính của keo. Lưu ý cọ càng to càng cần vuốt kỹ vì vẫn có thể đọng keo sâu bên trong lõi.
Bước 4: Định hình đầu cọ
Dùng tay vuốt lại đầu cọ theo form ban đầu. Nếu là cọ tròn có thể xoay tròn đầu cọ lên khăn, giấy hoặc khay pha để cọ lên form đẹp hơn.
Bước 5: Phơi khô
Để cọ khô tự nhiên, tránh ánh nắng trực tiếp hoặc máy sấy nóng.
Lưu ý: Cọ thủ công trong 1–2 lần sử dụng đầu, đặc biệt khi mới rã keo, có thể rụng một ít lông tuỳ từng cây cọ. Việc này hoàn toàn bình thường với cọ thư pháp hoặc các dáng cọ làm thủ công, quý khách có thể vuốt nhẹ đầu cọ sau khi rã keo để hết lông thừa. Trường hợp trong 5-6 lần sử dụng cọ vẫn tiếp tục rụng lông nhiều vui lòng liên hệ Lobeo để đổi cây mới
Đặc tính của lông cọ sau khi rã keo (đặc biệt là cọ lông thú) sẽ độ tơ và bông lên (chỉa ra ngoài không về form như lúc còn keo). Sau khi cọ ngậm nước sẽ trở lại form. Sau một thời gian sử dụng và bảo quản, nếu sau khi cọ khô sờ vào cảm giác khô cứng, hoặc không còn độ bông nghĩa là lông đã bị hư tổn và xuống cấp.

- Bảo quản nơi khô ráo, thoáng mát
- Tránh cắm cọ lâu trong cốc rửa cọ sẽ làm hỏng form cọ
- Tránh cắm đầu cọ khi khô vào những nơi dễ làm hỏng form lông cọ
- Không nên đóng nắp khi đầu cọ chưa khô hẳn lõi. Nếu đóng nắp thường xuyên khi cọ vẫn ẩm sẽ gây ra mốc, mủn lông cọ. Nếu muốn đóng nắp chờ cọ khô hẳn (nhìn sẽ tơ tơ bông bông), dùng nước vuốt nhẹ bên ngoài để lông cọ không bị cong khi đóng nắp. Chỉ nên đóng nắp trong thời gian ngắn khi mang cọ ra ngoài.
