Thạch — in Vietnamese, beyond meaning “stone,” the word can also refer to jelly. A unique state that is neither fully solid nor liquid: soft, translucent, fluid, yet still able to hold its own shape.
The brush is made with 80% goat hair and 20% synthetic fibers, featuring a higher goat hair ratio than the Thanh LB11014 line. However, the brush shape is designed with a sharper, more tapered point for better control and detailing.
Goat hair brushes are especially well-suited for gouache and poster colors thanks to their excellent water-holding ability and soft flow — while of course still performing beautifully with watercolor as well.
