• In Vietnamese, “Tan” means “to dissolve” or “to melt away.”

• The name refers to the random ink-wash patterns on the transparent handle, as if the ink is dissolving into water.

• Each handle has a unique marbled look: some light and cloudy, others deeper and darker.

• Because the patterns are naturally formed, no two brushes are identical.
