The mainly reason is: We choose to prioritize quality over rapid expansion.
Around 90% of Lobeo brushes are handmade using traditional techniques that require time, precision, and skilled craftsmanship. As a result, our production capacity is limited, and we currently cannot produce enough to supply multiple marketplaces, distributors, and our official website at the same time.
Lobeo brushes are primarily developed for watercolor and gouache. Each new design is tested by our in-house artists during real painting sessions, while every production batch is carefully inspected before shipping. Selling directly allows us to maintain this level of quality control and attention to detail.
It also helps us keep our prices reasonable by avoiding additional marketplace, advertising, warehousing, and fulfillment fees. Instead, we can invest more in materials, craftsmanship, product development, and customer support.
Through our official website, we can provide personalized recommendations, brush care guidance, technical support, warranty assistance, special promotions, and small gifts for our community.
In the future, we may consider additional distribution channels as Lobeo grows. However, we will only do so when we are confident that the same standards of quality and service can be maintained.
For now, selling directly remains the best way for us to preserve the craftsmanship, quality, and care that go into every Lobeo brush.
